Any guidelines, policies and explanations about the benefits the guests will get upon joining is minimal. The second issue would be your inconsistency. Any reasonable staff working in a gym seeing a guest with the inappropriate kind of outfits would certainly advise that person not to even enter it, with the premises in this case being shoes that very much look like a pair of boots (which they in fact are not). You should have a set of clear policies listed in any visible place, since wearing a pair of sandals or jeans, or even being barefoot is not uncommon practice in some of the gyms here. I have not done it but I have seen it. Allowing anyone in for 20 min. and tell them otherwise much later is just not right. So now the issue is really about shoes being muddy or looking like a pair of boots according to you? What is needed here is justification not defensiveness. been there for a few times n I like that there's an open area for stretching,free weights or some personal yoga practice... as I prefer having some open area away from the facilities. Allen the coach is really friendly and experienced as many of my friends highly recommend him. I will definitely have his pt sessions when I need those!
