I've been to Xin-zhuang Old Street many times, but I didn't know. You can enjoy cute pictures here rather than entering from the old town side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 走過、路過沒人會注意到的石砌石墩竟然是隘門的遺址！目前石墩的現狀似乎有部分被旁邊的民居給包覆。如果沒人注目，可能漸漸消失殆盡。
由老街的挑水巷進入至隘門後，一直以來都覺得為什麼景德巷如此彎曲？
看了周邊的資訊才明瞭原來景德巷是後村圳加蓋而成的道路，所以可以理解在早期欲經由隘門進入新莊老街得先跨過水圳，因此也是天然的屏障！
The stone masonry piers that no one will notice when passing by and passing by are actually the ruins of Aimen! The current status of the stone pier seems to be partially covered by the neighboring houses. If no one is paying attention, it may gradually disappear.
After entering from the water-carrying lane of the old street to the Aimen, I have always thought why Jingde Lane is so curved?
After reading the surrounding information, it became clear that Jingde Lane was a road built by Houcun Canal, so it can be understood that in the early days, to enter Xinzhuang Old Street via Aimen, you had to cross the canal first, so it was also a natural barrier!
