The "Yongchun Prefecture Chronicle" in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty recorded: The patriarch Xianying "doesn't eat meat when he was young, so he could predict disasters and good fortune", and he could also pray for rain for the people: "There is a severe drought, and the speaker said: I can bring rain. After praying, suddenly Said: Everyone can go back quickly. Before halfway, the rain was pouring and pouring." He asked for the rain to be very strong, so people called it "Yellow Water Wheel". Patriarch Xianying went to Jietian Temple in Yongchun, Fujian Province, and then left Yongchun to go to Taishan (Dajianshan) in Anxi County to practice Taoism. In the fourth year of Shaoxing, Emperor Gaozong of the Song Dynasty (1134), "Taishan Rock" was built at the head of Anxi Lake, and he practiced Taoism until he passed away. "Book of Min" says: Patriarch Zhaoying (Patriarch Qingshui) built Qingshuiyan, and white rice appeared automatically; Patriarch Xianying built Taishan Rock, and bricks and tiles appeared automatically; Patriarch Huiying built Taihu Rock, and wood appeared automatically. Considered three miracles. When he responds to the ancestors, teachers and students, he is supernatural and virtuous to the people. After the sitting, many people came to pay their respects, and raised funds to build more temples, revering them as gods. Later, he was named "Master Xianying Puji", commonly known as "Patriarch Xianying". Also known as "Taishan Patriarch" and "Taishan Xianying Master". Because Patriarch Xianying propagated the Dharma in Yongchun and practiced Taoism in Anxi and passed away, the people of Yongchun and Anxi also worshiped with faith, such as the family of Li Guangdi, a great scholar in the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty.
