緣道觀音廟

Make it one of your top list temples to visit when you come to Taipei. It has a splendid Japanese-Chinese hybrid designed temple conducive for praying and meditation. The place has a positive invigorating energy. It's a good, peaceful and serene place to de-stress and unwind, because the surroundings have a comforting, pacifying, and calming effects. The air smells clean and fresh. It has a beautiful scenic view of nature. The construction of the site is not yet finish though.

Brilliant place...

Beautiful Serene & Calm place with a main building where visitors can meditate and know about the history of the shrine. The construction of the Thousand Hands Guan Ying has been a work in progress for the past few years. Work is anticipated to be completed by 2020. Hence at the moment one can only take pics of the shrine from afar. There is a free shuttle service daily from Hongshulin MRT; after one comes out of Exit 1 , there will be a beverage stall with Signs in Chinese detailing the free transfer. A personnel from the temple will also lead one to where the transport van is located

Good landscape with friendly staffs. A good place to chill with friends and families. World's largest mental made Buddha statue is amazing, magnificent and it is said to be finished some time next year which is definitely worth visiting again and looking forward to seeing the magnificent architecture. Last but not least, staffs there are also humble and friendly and provides the pickup service every half an hour from the new Taipei MRT station to the temple entrance. The daoyuan restaurant provides good and fair price foods that you can stay for a while to chill out during the hot summer visiting.

Well spent time. The place was awesome. It’s a prestigious Buddha temple. Around here the environment was quite. The bridge and the fish pond is also quite popular among children’s and for the people who want to take photographs. Before the Christmas the place and trees are well decorated with the lights.

Wonderful experience I couldn't have spent a better afternoon. This site has everything in the right place, clean and tidy, lots of trees, ponds, some artificial waterfalls, lots of seats and statue, some goats walking around, even a coffee shop with some food, the building are nice and made with precious and rare material. People are kind and helpful, I must be thankful to aunty Melina (hope didn't misunderstood the name) for her guidance and explanations. I have burnt 5 different insents (100 dollars each are a bit expensive, but not too much if someone looks after you and takes you for a tour), I have been learning some new Chinese words thanks to a new prayer that aunty taught me (yello card buddha) and I have been touched in particularly at the Nine - cell Matrix purification zone, I started to cry. I hope you are lucky and bold enough to have someone to explain to you more about the temple, the story and the master. Wonderful experience, I can't wait to go back again! There is also a massive statue and another temple under construction just nearby. You should come during the weekend so you can visit more places at once, but during weekdays the vibes are more quiet and tranquil.
