Half the experience is an excellent set menu (served course style, something like Chinese kaiseki inspired by healthy temple food), half the experience is the Zen space. 2/3 of the dining hall is an empty stage - the calm exuded by this luxury of empty space is mesmerising. Outside is a large Zen garden - hence best to come during daylight hours.
You also can rent a tea pavilion to read a book, medidate, or have long conversations with a friend - however, this is a bit pricy at NT$3,000.

The service was attentive, most dishes of food were amazing (we ordered two sets of vegetarian food), but nothing could compare with the atmosphere, the design of this restaurant, which we were told that it was built and designed by its owner of the restaurant are by step.
It was a wonderful experience and I’d definitely come back again with families and friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An Omakase (no menu) restaurant with nice garden in Sanzi, New Taipei City. The dining atmosphere is good, but the food is average with acceptable price. You may enjoy the big space of the dinning area with some calm atmosphere. Overall experience is good.
