★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The river side cycling trail is one of the best things in Taipei. It goes all the way from the Zoo to Tamsui, all along the river. Lots of beautiful views, good cafes and nice spots this trail.
There are 3 options for bikes, ride your own bike, get an Ubike or rent a bike from the bike rental spots by the river. You can do a short ride at a time or spend all day on the bike.
The best part for me is this ride, start from Dadaocheng, take a break in Guandu (there is a food court near Guandu temple), finish in Tamsui.
