★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fairly packed place for A-Gei (tofu stuffed with vermicelli). They should work on their English as it says "Arcade" on the menu instead of A-Gei! I can't say it's worth the wait but not as bad as some of the reviews say (though it's my first time trying A-Gei). The A-Gei was fairly good but one of them was more soupy than the other two. Dry noodle was good but a tad soft and watery. The sticky rice was great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop at Tamsui Old Market is quite good. The soup is light, but the fish ball tasty with meat chop inside. The squid ball also nice, taste a bit pepper so not fishy. And the unique one is arcade which is new to me, basically taste like tofu fish cake with vermicelli (glass beehoon) inside dip in thick soup, the combination is good. Have to try when visit Tamsui.

All of the items, including the eatery's namesake item, are no more than average for this type of eateries.
One thing this eatery has going for it is the environment is relatively clean as compared to others on the same street.
I'd not make a plan to go back but it's probably not a bad place to have a taste of a "淡水阿給” if you have never had one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trying 阿給 the local food in Tamsui District. It was okay and the price was good (40 NTD/bowl). Also trying their noodle, taste good, strong sauces, also the price was 40NTD/bowl. Service was super quick and they serve us well. All in all was a great visit.
