★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A touristy cafe and gift shop that sells products made by the Chi Po-lin Foundation. This place used to display public art and is now a tourist trap. When I visited, the second floor was inaccessible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be a great art exhibition space. For some reasons the government decided to remodel it as a coffee shop with a touristy artsy shop and a rather empty-looking restaurant. What a shame!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have reopened the ground floor cafe and gift shop after over a year of closure. They don’t have the selection they had before but we are glad it is open again. The gift shop now sells aerial photography from a famous Taiwanese aerial videographer who died in a helicopter crash .
