★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An open-space park area right outside Tamsui mrt. Watch performers, eat snacks, people watch, enjoy the weather.
You can rent bikes from several shops here or just grab a u-bike. The Tamsui trail is nearby or you can bike through the market towards the fort.
Along the way make sure you stop by Tamsui old street for some delicious food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is one of the best places to take a rest and breathe fresh air in Taipei. As well, it is good to see the sunset here, even if it is not the best place to catch the sunset in Tamsui area. However, it is located right outside the station and offers a wide choice of dining options.
