★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 五星級的服務，主後1993年台灣邁入高齡化社會之際，雙連教會為了服務老人及宣教的使命，決定在台灣北部地區設立一處綜合性的社會福利園區，包含老人安養、養護、失智症照顧、禮拜堂、托兒所與社區關懷事工等。為滿足家屬能陪伴長者的需求，規劃10間寬敞舒適雙人套房，讓家屬能有更多的時間陪伴長者享有溫馨的天倫之樂。雙連安養中心更歡迎想來北海岸渡假、親近大自然的朋友以及單位團體舉辦活動(教室)，皆可安排住宿、休憩、聚會及饗美食。黃昏時候，還能到漫步走到對面的淺水灣，聽著海濤聲，享受大自然的交響樂。
Five-star service. In 1993, when Taiwan entered an aging society, the Shuanglian Church decided to set up a comprehensive social welfare park in the northern part of Taiwan in order to serve the elderly and mission. Conservation, dementia care, chapels, nurseries and community care ministries, etc. In order to meet the needs of family members to accompany the elders, 10 spacious and comfortable double suites are planned, so that family members can spend more time with the elders and enjoy the warmth of family fun. Shuanglian Anyang Center also welcomes friends who want to come to the North Coast for vacation, close to nature, and units and organizations to organize activities (classrooms). They can arrange accommodation, rest, parties and gourmet food. At dusk, you can stroll to Repulse Bay opposite, listen to the sound of the sea waves, and enjoy the symphony of nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit or live, if elderly. Great service all around with friendly staff and residents. Many elderly residents are still very active and talented, helping and volunteering in various areas, including music, arts, teachings, crafts, and etc. One elder who was also a church elder led Bible studies on English! Fun place and area to visit along with other seashore spots. Oh, there is also a pastoral department for spiritual care.

This is an elderly complex with a dementia tower, a nursing home wing for patients who need more intensive nursing care, and an assisted living tower for residents who can live in their own room but need help with cleaning and laundry and meals. I am very impressed with the organization and care provided here. The nurses and staff are all kind and friendly. Three meals a day are provided. This is a large campus that includes a beautiful Presbyterian church where musical performances take place, guest rooms for visitors, and an enclosed "park" with flat paved walking trails (suitable for wheelchairs) and a lotus pond. A lot of activities (morning Tai chi, computer classes, art, etc) with indoor gym for the elderly, physical therapy on weekdays, and gift shop, coffee shop, and barber shop. Really lovely and convenient place. Only drawback is that it is isolated so to get there, you either need a car, or to take public buses quite a distance from Taipei. There is a shuttle from Tamsui MRT to the center that runs during the day. I actually like the location by the sea. The air is cleaner, and it's quieter. This is way better than any nursing home in the United States. Really very happy with everything here!
