★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't normally rate or give review to a certain place not unless I had a very good or bad experience. On this case, it's the latter.
Maybe I'm just a picky eater or maybe it's just a very busy Sunday lunch hour. When I'm eating the steamed dumplings, I saw that the meat was not fully cooked. It's still pink. So I stopped eating and just finished the soup that I ordered. Other than that, I agree that it's a cheap place to be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick service, fair price, and delicious food. This diner's pork and prawn soup-dumplings are freshly made in the kitchen, with thin dumpling skin and very juicy fillings. Their soups, on the other hand, are greasier than what I prefer but are worth trying nonetheless.
I would recommend pairing your main dishes with pickled side dishes, to freshen up your palette for more food.
I usually share my reviews with photos, but I didn't have time for photos this time, as everyone had devoured the dishes almost as soon as they were served—that's how delicious they are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would Definitely recommend to everyone! If you love Ding Tai Feng and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, check this place out. Definitely worth it! 好好吃?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went in the afternoon so the queue wasn’t too bad. Dishes were good. I personally like the meat dumplings over the shrimp dumplings (prob cos I’m not a huge fan of leek and the taste of it overwhelms the shrimp). The combo soup is the way to go. Hot n sour soup was decent. Overall, it’s a nice stop when visiting the beaches around the area. Parking wasn’t too bad in the alleys behind the restaurant (disclaimer: not sure if they’re legal or not).
