老梅一詞是由古時候荷蘭人佔領時期，原住民名稱「Malleymey」音譯而來。乾隆晚期，漳州人許成萬開闢此地，之後許氏捐獻出來建造三界公廟（今之凌虛宮），並以寺廟附近的水田租金作為此廟的祭祀費用來源。
Lord of the Three Officials ~
The term Laomei was transliterated from the name of the indigenous people "Malleymey" during the Dutch occupation in ancient times. In the late Qianlong period, Xu Chengwan, a Zhangzhou native, opened this area. After that, the Xu family donated to build the Sanjie Gong Temple (now Lingxu Palace), and used the paddy field rent near the temple as the source of the sacrificial expenses for this temple.
