★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much in English, but good to see history of Yilan. Trees in garden have scientific name, so can Google common name. Camphor trees are impressive.

Do try their golden orange tea (may be a little too sweet for people for don't like sugary stuff)
Note: a bit expensive had a pot of tea for nt185 but worth the visit for the quality and ambience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cafe is very relaxing. Did not dare to try coffee but their traditional teas are an art form: beautifully presented and tasting. After Taiwanese night markets and scooters an oasis of peace and quiet with the real Japanese aesthetic. Very very nice.
Cheers cake is good as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s always my first choice place to visit in Yilan. Luckily, it’s nearly empty in this showering Saturday morning. It made me feel so peaceful and so joyful during that moment. And they were playing the 80’s Chinese hits all the time. lol
