The pagoda of loyalty is hidden under the tree, the loyal spirit of the Japanese, our transformation justice should be given a warning!

[Zhongshan Park], formerly known as "Yilan Park", in addition to the [Dedication of the Monument], there are two relics of the two Japanese era eras, one is [Loyalty Tower], and the other is [Japanese Army Communication Center Bunker], both Has been listed as a historic building. [Zhongling Tower] was established in August of the 11th year of the Showa era (1926). It was a soldier who died in the mourning for the country (Japan), and was inscribed by the Lieutenant General of the Taiwan Army, Lieutenant General Liu Chuanping. During the Second World War, Liu Chuanping led the 10th Army of the Japanese Army and invaded China's Hangzhou, Shanghai, and Nanjing. At the beginning of 1945, Liuchuan was sick, and it was too late to see Japan defeated and surrendered. After the war, the [Zhongling Tower] stone monument was destroyed. The bird houses and stone lanterns in front of the tower have disappeared. The base of the stone monument was destroyed. The stone was broken and abandoned. Now it is re-erected in Zhongshan Park. There is an inscription on the back of the stone, mixed with Chinese and Japanese, and the writing is gradually blurred. It is a memorial to the officers and men of the second squadron of the First Infantry of Taiwan. The deeds of dereliction of duty are unclear and should be related to the Battle of the Atayal.

Memorial inscription Soldiers of the Second Battalion of the First Infantry Regiment of the Taiwan Army The position of the Taiwan Army Command in 1909 is about today Opposite to Dongmen Elementary School, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City Infantry First Wing The resident is today's Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (Freedom Square) Second Infantry Wing The resident is Tainan Chenggong University Guangfu Campus (There are still a few buildings left at that time) At that time, the first and second infantry regiments would use the march to show Military appearance and intimidation of indigenous people The general route of the first regiment is: Departing from Taipei, Shenkeng, Pinglin, Jiaoxi, Luodong Then transfer to Samsung (Balisha), Niudou, Lishan White Dog (Currently, the investment 89 takes the industrial road) Go to Wushe Xia Puli and then detour the West Bank back to Taipei So I guess this loyal pagoda should be erected at this time ........... It’s a pity that the day of the visit was rainy and cloudy The ground is so watery that it is impossible to look closely!
