說真的，除非路過，要不然就不用刻意來了！沒什麼感覺的老街。

整修的不多，擔心損毀

Pretty old tradition, like it!!!

This is one of the landmarks down Toucheng's restored historic south-side alleyways. It is a small sacred shrine of the "Landkeeper Deity" (or called "Tudigong" in Mandarin Chinese), a.k.a. "the Diety of Virtuous Blessings" (or called Fudezhengshen in Mandarin Chinese) and right by the tree is its unique side-kick diety, called the "Fortune Diety Tortoise", where the local followers come here to pay homage to them. Usually they would light up two sticks of incense (one stick for each incense burner) and prostrate for a peace of mind, and pet the "Tortoise Diety" from head to toe for good luck. Also, bring snacks, fruit, or flowers to make offerings on the altar to be blessed (and optionally) for bringing these things home. For the burned incense, the left hand (ritualistically) are to be inserted upright in the incense burner and should waited at least until the incense decimates to about half of its length. Then, it is followed by mindfully thinking about one or more sincere wishes of our own, for the greater good, or for others. As a Taiwanese cultural and Daoist formality, the community believe these dieties will keep this township safe, peaceful, and prosperous.
