There are mainly older local people.
I recommend to go to a nice hotel hot spring spa instead.

There is a swimming pool of 25m also with spa water as well as two hot springs (different temperature), first one 40 degrees and second I believe was 43,5 degrees. Couldn't almost enter the second one since I felt so hot. Entrance in the weekend 100 TWD. Mostly older people. You need the swimming cup (your one or to buy for 50 TWD). Helpful stuff with no so much English skill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though the place is small, there is swimming pool (25m), hot spring, and spa inside. The tick price is very reasonable 80NT for adult, 50NT for kid. This is a place good for both summer time and winter time. The water of the swimming pool is warm. And the location is great, only 3 mins walk from the bus station. The best thing is that there are not too many people/tourists, most are local (elderly) people.
