★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent destination to take the fam especially on a typical raining day in yilan. Highly recommend it! Note though, feeding time isn’t fixed. Best to go in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a nice place for a short stop while traveling in Yilan. It combines the small aquarium and shrimps dishes restaurant. The kids will like it here. Good taste of shrimps, very fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This aquarium is free of charge to visit. It mainly has small aquariums and tropical fishes on exhibit. There are feeding times, when visitors can feed larger fish. Unfortunately, I did not have time to feed the fish that day, so I cannot say how interesting that would be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feels a bit like paying to enter a shop. Aquarium is a little neglected (dirty glass), and tanks very minimal. Sharks were quite spectacular although you get the feeling these fantastic creatures are too many for the size tank.
If you like kavalan whisky try elsewhere it's retail + a premium here despite paying entry fee.

The shark and sting ray section is really fun since you can see highly dangerous marine animal from a really short distance
And the ticket only costs 100
Quite a nice place to take a walk for an hour or two
