The Jiaoxi Guosheng Temple in Yilan County is dedicated to Zheng Chenggong, the king of Yanping County. There are some legends about its temple creation. In the 16th year of the Republic of China (Guangxu 22, AD 1896), a group of children living behind the present Xietian Temple made a five-inch god statue out of soil under a longan tree, and built a simple The thatched hut is placed for worship, and incense is burned every morning and evening. One day, a child suddenly woke up and reported his name as Guo's surname, Zheng Chenggong. In the first 10 years of the Republic of China (28 years of Guangxu, 1902 AD), three village gentry, including Jiaoxi Dingbao (Dazhong), Xiabao (Dayi) and Liujie, Mr. Zhang Chaorong (nicknamed Rough Pi), etc., proposed to raise funds in the Association The temple was officially built on the back side of the Temple of Heaven, praying for the blessing of the surnamed God for the safety of the residents in the territory. In the 50th year of the Republic of China, it was severely damaged by the typhoon, and reconstruction was initiated again. In 1966, when a new road was built in Jiaoxi Township, the Guoxing Gong Temple had to be demolished. Because the government compensation fee was too low, it could not be rebuilt in time. The statue of Guoxing Lord was temporarily sent to the Xietian Temple for 17 years. In 1981, fundraising was launched to rebuild the current site. In 1983, the new temple was officially completed and completed. It welcomed the statue of the surnamed Lord and held a ceremony for the enthronement of the fire. It was named "Jiaoxi Guosheng Temple".
