A tea pavilion is set under the Buddhist temple for tourists to rest and replenish hot and cold drinking water, which is convenient. In front of the tea pavilion, there are a grapefruit garden, a fish-viewing platform and a commentary card, which protects the students.

There is a couplet at the door. There is some information on the table. Welcome to worship the Buddha inside. What's the matter, life or no life A good couplet is thought-provoking I thought it was really smart to practice in this good place. Although the transportation is convenient, it is not like a desolate place, and it is close to the lake. There are businesses and large parking lots next to it.

It’s a Ling Jou mountain Buddhist founder early day practice area. 1977, the founder shin dou came here meditate 20 hours a day, eat only one meal. He practice at this location for 4 years. The mountain environment and the nature energy along with cemetery around here, he gain the great insight to Buddhism. Hence, this tinny Buddhist temple became the important for Buddhist here in Taiwan. The temple is small but you can definitely feel a totally different energy as you set foot into it. It’s rare place that doesn’t require magnificent architecture or fancy decoration yet the zen is everywhere. This temple also host 2 sleeping Buddha which is rare in Taiwan. There is one temporary Shelter for the large one that looks like it’s waiting to be place with permanent structure. I truly enjoy being here and feel tranquil and peaceful here.
