冷埤 - Yilan County

Lengpi, the Yilan County government does not maintain or open scenic spots. The trails on the way are dirt and stone roads, cultivated by local residents and mountain friends; about three-quarters of the journey is up. Slope, there is a quarter of the downhill when approaching the destination. Of course, the return journey is the opposite. It takes about four hours to go back and forth (with my strength and feet), and the distance is about seven or eight kilometers. The journey on the way out is really a bit panting for people who don't train well. All the way up the mountain stream sometimes traverse the mountain trail, sometimes parallel to the mountain road, the water is gurgling! It's quite wet. Don't go up the mountain after rainy days. You have to wait until it clears up before going up the mountain. It is also recommended to wear waterproof shoes when you come up on weekdays; waterproof and muddy! The forest is a low-altitude mixed forest. The sound of running water and the chirping of frogs, birds and insects make people forget the exhaustion of climbing all the way! When the destination arrives, looking at the face, exhaustion is wiped out! Lengpi is about three hundred meters above sea level, and the highest elevation on the way to come is about five hundred meters. It is one of the main sources of Cukeng Creek. The surface of the pei is a long strip with an east-west direction and a length of about 200 meters. It is about 20 meters wide, and the water flows out to the Cukeng River to the west. It should be regarded as a water source protection area! Please watch with your eyes and do not enter the water to prevent pollution of the clean water source! ! There is also a brick bungalow without a roof at the west end of Pian Mian! There are not too wide trails around the pool, so be careful of slippery! Lengpi is an unpopular attraction. Of course, the road is the main factor, but it also keeps Lengpi mysterious, primitive, and less destructive! I also hope to continue this way! The road is wet and rain boots are recommended. The plants are rich in ecology and the lake is full of water grasses.

There are only a few uninhabited secret places in Yilan that are like a paradise. The water quality is really clear and transparent. The whole world is quiet, only the sound of birds, water, and wind from the treetops!

Lengpi is a long and narrow east-west natural lake. The lake water is quite clear. There is a water outlet on the west side. There is an abandoned bungalow next to the water outlet. The path to Lengpi is usually wet and muddy, so when visiting Lengpi, you must wear rain boots. If you wear hiking boots, you may feel uncomfortable because your shoes and socks are soaked. On some maps, it can be seen that there is a path from the Lengpi water outlet to Jincheng Construction Industry Co., Ltd. (sand and gravel yard). I recommend not to take this path because the road conditions are poor and there are collapses in the middle. It is a better choice to go up the mountain to visit Lengpi from the road next to the Elementary School in Inner City (Lane 278, Section 3, Yuanshan Road), and then go down the same road.

Low-chassis vehicles, recreational vehicles, please do not enter, it will hurt the car. After a rainy day, the road is slippery. On the road, there is a mountain and Qiang, please protect this land.
