C	Cassandra Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very local, tasty clear broth. Feels healthy and comforting on a cold rainy morning. Tried shark skin as a side dish, not bad, a bit of an acquired taste. We were told that it's rich in collagen. The shopkeepers maintained a fun theme within their shop, full of cartoon figurines of the 80s (e.g. Doraemon, live size transformers)etc. if you are around the area or on your way to Yilan from Taipei, do drop by this place. I hear it gets really crowded on weekends (we visited on a Friday morning)

A	Adrian Kwa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very local noodle house with a quirky Manga theme. The speciality is rice vermicelli clear soup (mi fun tang) with tofu and a few meat balls. The soup broth is clear and tasty. We also had side dishes of hammerhead shark skin, pork intestines stuffed with rice flour and pig blood as well as stir fried sweet potato leaves. Admire the manga characters on the wall. How many can you recognise?
P	Pong Yen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This strip of road has a lot of great options. If you can't decide, this is a good choice. Very tasty fish ball noodle soup and other traditional Taiwan small eats. The place is decorated with a large collection of toys, models and manga posters from the 80's and 90's, and play pop music from that era. Food is 4.5, the decor and fun factor is a 5. We walked over from the Westin which took about 20 minutes. Well worth it!
