Temple Introduction During the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1786), a prince called Liao Di, a wise man in Zhangzhou, asked the third prince to cross the sea and move to Taiwan. When Liao Di's escort came under the big banyan tree south of Kavalan Choshui River (now known as Lanyang River), the statue of the third prince stayed still, and the holy instructions wanted to stay here to help the world and save people. This is the origin of Erjie Wanggong Temple. For more than two hundred years, with the methods of "medicine, geography, Taoism," and so on, the immigrants have been cultivated to eliminate disasters, subdue demons and demons, and have extensive powers and powers, and the villagers regard them as the patron saint. Believers from all over the world are also vying to welcome the deity, and there are countless believers who set up temples in various places in Taiwan. The 15th day of the lunar calendar is the birthday of the three kings of the ancient kings and the third kings of the three kings. As usual, the "Wanggong Temple" in Yilan II will hold a grand "passing fire" ceremony. Over 20,000 catties of charcoal were used for the fire in the Erjie "Wanggong Temple". It is the largest fire-fighting ceremony in the country and attracts many people to watch it every year. The overfire of the princes has also become the most distinctive folk event in the Erjie area. Before the second prince went overboard, there was a magical and interesting process of "grabbing the children". The so-called "grabbing the children" means that the three princes must personally find their own children to show that their gods are threatening and boundless. In the afternoon, when the charcoal fires are all burned and the preparations are complete, the child who has presided over the fire on behalf of the three kings still does not know where he is? Every year, the three princes’ children would deliberately hide themselves and play hide-and-seek games with the gods. The three princes’ palanquins would always go and look for them in person, before they obediently gave up and went out. When the fire ritual was performed, the mikoshi of the three princes would "float" at the entrance of the temple, and then rushed to the village to "grab the children"; what is amazing is that the princes seem to know it in the dark. Where is the child hiding? Otherwise, it would not be easy for the prince to search house by house for thousands of families in Erjie. When the prince "Jianjiao" spotted him, he immediately put on copper needles on both sides of his cheeks, and carried the Five Phoenix Flag on his cheeks, and then returned to the temple with the palanquin for a fire ceremony. Believers who have participated in the fire must ban meat and vegetarianism beforehand, and show the sacredness of the fire. If you have been in a confinement room within a month, you have seen an unentangled corpse, or Dai Xiao, or you are in a period of menstruation, you are considered to be "unclean" and are strictly prohibited from participating in a fire, otherwise you will be burned. When the fire is being carried out, the black flag holder "fires the road" and rushes through the fire to test whether it is safe; then the believers carry the mikoshi, holding the statue of the god, and the flag, and ran through the fire respectively. Believers who have not personally participated in the fire after the ceremony will also bring their loved ones’ clothes and wave on the fire, praying for the elimination of filth and bad luck; many people also come to the scene to retrieve the embers. It is said that the ashes used in the fire are buried in the foundations of the houses. The lower part can protect the house, and feeding the livestock with ashes can protect the livestock from the plague, so the people are always scooping it.
1. Follow in the footsteps of Abba 2. Thousands of people who dad participated in moved to the temple and went overboard. 3. The ancient three kings: In the late Southern Song Dynasty, the Yuan army invaded. At that time, three patriotic chivalrous men named Liu Xin, Ye Cheng, and Heroic became the patron saints of Zhang-Nan area. 4. Each has expertise in "medicine, geography, and Taoism". 5. Don't be alarmed during the New Year, and be overwhelmed by the prince. 6. The weight of powder in a cup.

The original Erjie Wanggong Temple is at the current location of the new temple It can be seen that there are leftovers on both sides of the temple. 1996 Cable during parallel movement of 150 meters The original prince has been moved to the new temple There is a lunch break for visiting the old temple Around 12:00-14:00 It is recommended to check the time in advance to visit Avoid a waste of time The new temple is built on the foundation of the old temple His style is wise At least I'm not used to this strange appearance
