★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 根據當地耆老林老先生說，本廟最早為一座土地公廟，廟宇旁左側有一棵大榕樹，樹下本來有間很小的石砌土地公廟，供奉數尊石做的土地公像，但數十年前廟身和神像早已隨著枝葉的生長被包入樹身內。至今那棵大榕樹仍屹立不搖的堅守崗位，保護著樹身內的小土地公廟，當地村民也將它視為一棵神聖的樹，並在樹下擺設石椅，不時在此聚首閒聊，向後世傳唱著這個有趣的傳說。
 According to the local senior Mr. Lin, the temple was originally a Di Gong Temple. There was a big banyan tree on the left side of the temple. There was originally a small stone Di Gong Temple under the tree, which enshrines several statues of Di Gong in stone. Ten years ago, temple bodies and idols were already wrapped in the tree body along with the growth of branches and leaves. The big banyan tree still stands unswervingly at its post and protects the small earth temple inside the tree. The local villagers also regard it as a sacred tree and set up stone chairs under the tree to gather here to chat from time to time. Sing this interesting legend to later generations.
