My friend’s male pole also has double hooks. The size of the shrimp in the comprehensive pool here is sometimes big or small, but it doesn’t affect the shrimp pool in Yilan. It is much better than the one in Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an awesome place to spend the afternoon. I brought my parents here while we were visiting Yilan and we all had a great time. The owner Tony was super friendly and spoke perfect English. He guided us every step of the way from preparing our rods to cooking the shrimps. After our time was up, Tony helped us wash our shrimp and noticed that we hadn't caught many, so he gave us some extra shrimp on the house. He even have us a little tour of the back where they keep the shrimp. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Yilan. It costs 350nt per hour which includes any shrimp that you catch. At the end you can sit at a table and grill your shrimp. You can also order food from the kitchen in the back and have a complete meal there. Unfortunately we had other dinner plans already otherwise we would have just eaten there. Overall, it's a great place to spend an hour or two while in Yilan. If you're a shrimping novice, make sure you ask for Tony! He might not be there, but if he is you're in for a treat.
