1995年創辦人張純淑老師到德國斯圖加特參訪第一所華德福學校，在回程的遊覽車上不禁落淚，心想什麼時候台灣的孩子才可以有這樣的學校？
1996年慈心改制為華德福幼兒園，當時的社會環境仍在「別讓孩子輸在起跑點」的思維裡。張純淑老師賣掉了自己的最後一間房子，只為了讓幼兒園繼續經營下去。
如今華德福教育在台灣落地生根，開花結果，而這裡就是那個願力的所在。
Founded in 1966, Luodong area has a long history and is a serious kindergarten.
In 1995, the founder, Ms. Zhang Chunshu, visited the first Waldorf school in Stuttgart, Germany. She couldn't help crying on the tour bus on the way back, thinking when will Taiwanese children be able to have such a school?
In 1996, Cixin was restructured into a Waldorf Kindergarten. At that time, the social environment was still in the mindset of "don't let children lose at the starting point". Teacher Zhang Chunshu sold her last house just to keep the kindergarten running.
Now Waldorf education has taken root and blossomed in Taiwan, and here is where the willpower lies.
