★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 四、五十年前早期村民到附近羅東溪撿回石板塊蓋成石板厝居住；如今時代進步石板厝已不復見，為懷念石板厝，於是在大進休閒農業區成立時，發動五百位村民再造一間15坪大石板厝作為紀念。
Forty or fifty years ago, the early villagers went to the nearby Luodongxi to retrieve the stone slabs and built them into slate houses to live in. Nowadays, the progressive stone houses are no longer seen. In memory of the slate houses, they mobilized 500 people when the Dajin Leisure Agriculture Zone was established. The villagers rebuilt a 15-square-meter stone house as a memorial.
