★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 冬山老街市區沿著冬山河河道右岸經宜橋、富農橋、茄苳橋到了紅色大拱橋的利澤簡橋，過了橋的左岸是歷年舉辦童玩節的親水公園，回程沿著對岸直抵生態綠舟公園，繞往與冬山火車站接壤的大片草地，遠望冬瓜山方向，成排入秋已變色的落羽松及稻草捲們，自成鄉野的大自然景色及童趣，火車高架鐵軌下的溜滑梯，孩子們不論晴雨，都可在此玩個盡興，街上文創小店增添了不少，還有些有特色的麻糬、冰品店，農會附設餐飲伴手禮店很值得一訪。
 The downtown area of Dongshan Old Street is along the right bank of the Dongshan River through the Yi Bridge, Fu Nong Bridge, and Jialing Bridge to the Lizejian Bridge of the red arch bridge. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 冬山車站開始至大甲門出海口自行車步道，早晨傍晚有許多人散步運動健走。縣府有注重觀光發展，左岸右岸整理的很舒適。右岸往五十二甲濕地，可以看到許多野鳥在此棲息，很適合一遊。
