Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is a bodhisattva who is generally admired and worshipped by the people of East Asia. Among various Mahayana Buddhist images or statues, Guanshiyin Bodhisattva is also the most common and there are many types. Guanyin Bodhisattva is a folk belief. It is the head of the five deities of the family hall. Taiwanese people often paint it on the family hall god painting "Guanyin Lacquer", and together with the gods enshrined in the family, they worship in the morning and dusk. The Buddhist scriptures say that Guanyin Bodhisattva has a vast compassionate heart. No matter what kind of disasters all living beings in the world encounter, if all living creatures in the world honour the holy name of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva immediately seeks out his voice and feels it, so that he can get away from suffering and be happy, so it is called "Great Mercy and Compassionate Guanyin Bodhisattva." , Is the most well-known big bodhisattva in Buddhism, praised by "Amitabha of every family, Guanshiyin of Tototo".

The Bailian Temple was named by the elder Miaohui, Chen Xiuhuimin. In his early years, he stayed in Japan, Zongrong Nijia Academy, and converted to the Japanese monk Gaoquan Xuanxian.
