Must try the jelly dessert made of collagen from fish skin. It sounds icky but is actually yummy.
Place is a bit dirty (the tables and chairs are oily and sticky)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food! On contrary to most reviews, there was no wait at all when we visited around 19:00 on Sunday. When it's not busy, the owners are both exceptionally friendly, explaining every single dish that we ordered and answering every question we asked about the seafood. They also spent a good amount of time entertaining and chatting with us. Their friendliness gave us a great impression about this restaurant as well as the quality of their food. If this kind of service is important for you, visit them at the time when they're not too busy, and then you will also give a five-star review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste is not that outstanding, just so so, some comments online really exaggerate the food quality there. We ordered prawn, but the meat was not that fresh, seems frozen for quite some time. And the price is slight higher than others nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is slightly overpriced than other seafood restaurants in the area, but a few dishes were made with exotic seafood. The staff were very friendly and showed us how to eat each dish. We noticed several health-code violations, however, as we were leaving—they kept their Labrador wandering around indoor, and stored raw fish in meshed, plastic trays on the cement sidewalk under the sun in mid-day. Flies were all over those fish, and got us concerned with what we'd eaten.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall a decent value restaurant. It is not much to look at but the food is of good quality. The steamed fish is really nice and it only cost $350. I can’t recall having a steamed fish at this cost. The clams are large and fresh. Foreigners will have a hard time ordering unless a local person is present.
The owner is friendly and will come around the tables to tell you the little tricks in eating seafoods.

Seafood is exceptionally fresh and they will recommend the best way to enjoy them. And if you are a foreigner, the owner would come around to explain how you can enjoy some unusual looking prawns. Service is fast and efficient. You order your choice of ingredients outside at the display of fresh seafood and soon your order is served. Yummy yummy yummy!? you can also bring your own wine, get your own glass, open the bottle yourself..??
Totally enjoyed my christmas dinner..?
