★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 法王寺獨自位於山丘背向新竹市、面向寶山的一側，也由於坡下主要是墓地，少有建物和電線桿阻擋，因此平時相當清幽、展望甚佳。過去二次大戰期間新竹遭受轟炸時，這裏更是民眾躲避戰火的地點之一，可說是陪著新竹民眾走過大時代的寺廟。
Fawang Temple is located on the side of the hill facing the city of Hsinchu and facing Baoshan. It is also mainly a cemetery under the slope. There are few buildings and poles blocked. Therefore, it is quite quiet and has a good outlook. When Hsinchu was bombed during the Second World War, it was one of the places where the people avoided the war. It can be said that it was accompanied by the people of Hsinchu who walked through the era.
