- The chef can speak Mandarin and English.
- You can ask your type of food oriented ( e.g: spicy, non spicy, with no egg, no onion, etc).
- Unfortunately, the space of shop is quite small. Usually many people come and need to come earlier to get space to sit with group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the closest you can get for the taste of peranakan food. Although it's not the most authentic food and already tweaked to the lighter Taiwanese palate, it still packs a punch. Especially the sambal (chili sauce) which uses belacan (shrimp paste). The portion and price ratio is very valuable.
The only main weakness is the place, as the tables aren't that many.

Though the dishes are based on Malaysian cousine, it has a subtle taste of the Taiwanese culture due to Taiwanese preferences on lighter flavour dishes. It is also relatively cheap compared to any other restaurant around the area. The food made by the restaurant is also verified by several Malaysians to be closest to the original taste in their Homeland as much if them visit to ease their homesicknesses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food at this place is NOT suitable for children. I like savory foods and even I thought the Rendang rice was too salty. Couldn't finish it. Husband couldn't finish his Fujian noodle dish.
Hainan chicken rice had a really weird taste, like it'd been sitting for too long and wasn't fresh. Kids spat it out. Would not eat here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In general: great prices, large serving sizes, plenty of good dishes, love the noodles.
Fried noodles: highly recommend this to everyone. Very Southeast-Asian style noodles with the same aromas and flavour.
Curry laksa: creamy, flavourful Penang style curry laksa. I also could not recommend this enough. Not expensive for Laksa.
Curry dishes: I love the omelette series. Their curry sauce pairs well with that. Not too fond of their curry dishes without the omelette.
I think there is room for improvement for their rice dishes. I don't like their mushy rice. That's one of the biggest reasons their Nasi Lemak didn't make the cut for me. Their KL Hokkien Mee is also lacking lard bits.
