It was the only male monk education institution in Taiwan at that time. The content of the course emphasizes the balance between practice and business, and equal emphasis on affair. The graduation ceremony was held on New Year's Day of the 53rd year. There were 18 graduates and graduates, such as Ruxu, Chaoding, and Ren. From the 53rd to the 58th year, although there was no academy, it still gathered many young monks who wanted to study. The "Fuyan Buddhist Academy" was established in 1949. From the fall of 1961 to 66, the American Buddhist Association hosted by Shen Jiazhen established the Scripture Translation Institute in Taiwan, and established the English translation of Chinese Buddhist scriptures with the help of Fuyan Jingshe. Until the Confucian Academy moved north, the Buddhist Academy was renewed. When Fuyan resumed school in 1967, the department mainly recruited women, during which many outstanding female masters were cultivated. It was not until September of the Republic of China that Fuyan was restored to a pure male Buddhist college. The Dean of Fuyan Buddhist College adopts the system of selecting talents.
