★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 臭豆腐雖然不是說上乘美味,但是也是好吃。這個地方吃的是熱情人情味,老闆人很熱情,會來這邊的感覺都是熟客,閒來沒事來這邊吃個臭豆腐、聊聊天。
他們臭豆腐不是說真的很臭,但是我覺得臭的剛剛好,有些臭豆腐真的是臭到太臭了不好吃,他們家味道剛剛好;泡菜據同桌的老顧客說是新竹山上採下來醃製的,味道沒有很酸,炎熱的夏天吃起來涼涼的很消暑;臭豆腐中間會加滿滿的蒜泥和辣椒醬(不吃辣的可以不加),吃起來非常美味。
那天下午去,人沒有很多,但是濃濃的人情味。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 老毛近幾年才在大樹下擺攤,客人普遍是嚼檳榔的紅齒勞工、剛換班的疲軟保全、做小生意失敗的河東大媽、捏啤酒罐出氣的中年油膩男,臭幹髒話的漏風大叔,包括我這條山東蛇。
直到某次警鳴聲大作,原先前來開單的警察也一試成主顧。但為了業績,單子還是照開不誤。
他家臭豆腐特色是避俗:堅持不臭,不炸至焦脆。
一口咬下去,像老皮嫩肉,外皮酥薄,內裏綿濡,緊接著湯汁暴漲。儘管噴嘴燙舌,卻讓人捨不得張口呼氣,唯恐失液。
一份五只,建議先吃內灌蒜泥漿的原味,留兩只擠辣椒醬。間奏配用旁附的四川泡菜,帶花椒香而不見花椒,颯然清爽,誠可謂臭豆腐界的小清新。
豬血湯的豬血具有雞蛋豆腐般彈嫩的口感,咬開後絕少氣孔及雜質。
先用滾水去煮開酸菜干,既能替接著下鍋的豬血去腥,控制火候,乃至酸成為湯的基味,菜干本身只賸甘脆的口感。
再下沙茶醬,使其鮮鹹遮掩豬血的微澀與腥味。最後將成段的辛韭菜、切細的辣薑絲去除油膩感,亦是豬血湯界的小清新。
除了這三寶,醃虱目魚頭跟滷味也做得很好。魚頭不僅個頭比臺南大,風味亦略殊,但可遇不可求。說著吃著就下起毛毛雨了。

不過炸台上看起來維持的挺整潔的,有看到老闆一直有在擦拭。
一份五十也不貴,願意再訪。
