★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The path along the coastal line is so beautiful. We can rent bicycles there and ride along the coastal line. The pathway is so beautiful that I felt like I am in some secret world especially where both sides of pathway is covered with dense trees. It's like arch of trees welcoming us to another world. I really liked it. Must visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coastline of Hsinchu where a pavement is built for recreational and sight-seeing purposes. Bicycles with or without motor can be rented in Nanliao(南寮) village at a fair price. The view is GREAT! Spectacular view of the Taiwanese strait sits below the horizon where the sky fills the upper part, and would recommend you to check out the romantic sunset. Strong winds blew across the land so be extra careful of your belongings. The pavement is 17km long, accompanied with different attractions just within kilometres, so get prepared to challenge this amazing site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a raised viewing area above the 17km coastal path and next to the modern incinerator. Facilities are a toilet and that’s about it. It used to be nicer and have a coffee shop but that’s long gone and the maintenance seems to have been reduced. It’s still a good spot to watch the sunset and let’s you see over the currently closed part of the path. Personally I recommend walking down the rough track to the path itself and photographing from there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s amazing that we have such a beautiful place in Taiwan, and just 20min to drive there!!!
Not crowded at all, you can ride a bike here and enjoy the wind and ocean view. You can also find stunning sunset scene if you are lucky.
