來了顆發光地球，
直徑有七公尺大，
晚上吸引很多人，
原本設計是漂浮，
無奈新竹風太大，
只好固定在地上，
這顆大球是英國藝術家
路克・傑朗姆的作品《蓋亞》，
蓋亞意思即為地球，
約為真實地球的180萬分之一，
印有NASA授權的地球表面圖像，
如果觀眾在距離這件作品211公尺處觀賞，
就等於太空人站在月球表面觀看地球，
現場實際上是不可在211公尺外還看到，
超美地球新竹打卡新地標，
搭配中央暖冬國旅補助，
市府加碼推廣「來去新竹住1晚暖冬版」，
精心設計四大路線「親子放電、孝親漫遊、情侶放閃、少年瘋遊」。

20190207這次來終於看到漂浮地球……但地球已經沒漂浮了，直接固定在地上。
是為了避免風勢過大而無法展示的立意良善，但那個地球底下擺的磚塊有點好笑……雖然會注意到的人不多，但沒有比較好看一點的固定基座嗎？
