The Hsinchu City Cultural Assets Review Committee reviewed the "Jingyeyuan" at Shulintou, built in CE 1902, to witness the gradual conversion of traditional religion to Buddhism in Hsinchu, and decided to designate it as the 32nd municipal monument in Hsinchu City. In addition to 5 national monuments, Hsinchu City has a total of 60 historical sites, including 37 historical sites and 23 historical buildings. "Jingyeyuan" is the Longhua school in the bamboo trench area. It was built in 1902 by Zheng Chong and Sun Zheng Rulan at the north gate. It was the place where his original partner Chen Runnian (Puchi) practiced Buddha. The "Hsinchu State Guide" records that Jingyeyuan was originally a Zhaitang, but later changed to a Zen school. The "Jingyeyuan" building is a traditional courtyard with 7 rooms. The waterwheel is blocked, the cutting and sticking of the head, and the cochin pottery decoration are still preserved. The dragon protection gable wall is decorated with clay sculptures and hanging fish. The left side is based on the book and the right side is based on the scroll. Keep well maintained. The Jingyeyuan building is of southern Fujian style, but it is influenced by modern Japanese architecture, combined with traditional Taiwanese architecture, Japanese and Western architecture during the Japanese occupation period, and presents the characteristics of each era. There are not many "Zhaitangs" in Taiwan. The Jingyeyuan is one of the few places in Hsinchu that provides celibate women's practice. The buildings are integral and difficult to reproduce.

In the Buddhist art palace, whether it is architectural wood carving, stone carving, Buddha statue, etc., Yang Yingfeng's works outside are worthy of careful appreciation.
