The ba-wan is fried and its filling is made of red yeast pork, which is quite tender. You can only find this kind of fried ba-wan in Hsinchu. Apart from that, you can also have a bowl of delicious thick soup to go with the ba-wan. The dumpling soup is very tasty too.
