★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 此建築原在1884年就由當時新竹仕紳鄭如蘭為潛心向佛的太太所建，後1935年地震的關係建築半毀，由鄭如蘭孫鄭肇基嫡配捐建並遷至目前所在地，建築有點像日式建築，假如都沒翻修過的話，目前也應為百年古剎！但感覺似無人管理！
香山是整個大新竹發源的起點，人文薈萃的寶地，但總感覺對文化的保存及維護總是不夠，新竹不止舊城區而香山古建築或故事可能比市區舊城區更精彩！
 This building was originally built in 1884 by Zheng Rulan, an official gentry from Hsinchu at the time, for his wife who devoted himself to the Buddha. After 1935, the building related to the earthquake was half destroyed. It was donated by Zheng Rulan and Sun Zheng Zhaoji and moved to the current location. Like a Japanese-style building, if it hasn't been renovated, it should be a century-old temple at present! But it feels like no one is supervised!
Xiangshan is the starting point of the origin of the entire Hsinchu County, a treasured place of cultural gatherings, but I always feel that the preservation and maintenance of culture is always insufficient. Hsinchu is not only the old city, but the ancient buildings or stories of Xiangshan may be more exciting than the old city of the city!
