We saw all these good reviews, so we came here. Very disappointing. I hope it’s because of the COVID19, so they are limited to only provide bad service lol Positive: 1. Easy to park 2. Dinning area is quite new and neat 3. Good for taking some photos Negative 1. Not much to see 2. The beer that comes with the entrance ticket is room temp. Can’t even drink it at the spot. If we wish to drink a beer there, we need to pay for another drink.(doesn’t bug me as much yet.) 3. The staff that works has barely any knowledge of their own beers. I asked them what are differences between their beers. For example, he told me 4 of them are English beers and 2 of them are Belgium beer. And asked him them what are the differences between the two Belgium beers. He said he doesn’t know how to describe it. I need to drink it in order to figure out. (What!? This makes me wanna pay nothing) 4. Their bathroom is not clean.

Good craft beer is something I wouldn’t expect in Hengchun. Yet here it is. Buy a $100 ticket and have a look at the museum first. Then use it to buy a beer. They have 5 draft beers and some cans too. My favorite are Pilsner and APA. Great place. There’s no food so perhaps stop at the near McDonald’s and bring some burgers with you.

The museum is very interesting and has a lot of historical pieces and documents related to beer making history through the ages. Although I had my Taiwanese girlfriend there to translate for me, they could do with a few more bi-lingual translation for each of the exhibits. The beer is top notch and has all the great characteristics of good craft beer. What it lacks; the people working there don't seem very passionate about beer (wondering if the close season had something to do with it), the place could do with a bit of a dust, a clean of the windows, I feel just a few modifications and the right attitude from staff could turn it from a converted community center sort of vibe into a cosy venue that you might enjoy spending few hours drinking with friends.

We found their HEJIE and Kenting from Carrefour in Taipei. Both are really good beer and always got its space in our refrigerator since then. In our spring break to Kenting, we took our chance to visit this beer company. It’s really worthy for their draft beer selections were so good!!! Happy to learn from the owner that they will have entire selection at Carrefour after this summer. Good Taiwan beer is rare but this one definitely makes its unique position on our top choice.

In terms of museum, there isn’t much exhibits to see. The ticket price and use to purchase the beer. There are draft beers and canned beer. Quite a relax place to stay for a while.Have carpark outside the museum. It will be better is the the museum sell food that come with the beer.

Bring your own food, its fantastic! Roast duck from the market and pint of beer heaven. Or stop by McDonald's. They do not serve food but you can take your own food and really enjoy the beer. Place was a little difficult to find, waged between two factories with no signs up front. Keep your eyes on the left side of the street. We tried the flight of beer with 5 different beers. My husband liked the ESB, I like the stout. For non beer drinker, the lemon sparking water is really nice, tart and refreshing. Take your time to look through the exhibits. This is a place to relax, drink and enjoy conversation with your friends.

It's a very unique place for beer lovers, and people who want to get to know some history of beer. However, if you only speak a language other than Chinese, you should visit with a Chinese speaker so that he or she could explain the Chinese translations of the items and pictures exhibited. After the short tour, it's very pleasant to sit down and order some local brewed beers.

Cool little beer museum all put together by one man with a boundless passion for beer. Although the museum doesn't have English descriptions, many of the QR codes next to the exhibits link to English YouTube videos which explain the history of beer brewing. The 100 NTD entry fee also serves as a credit towards purchasing either a canned beer or one of the many beers on tap. On the first floor there's also an impressive Mona Lisa painting that's assembled from different beer labels around the world! If you like beer, I'd definitely recommend this place!
