If you are first here, I strongly recommends you to rent as you need a scooter to explore Hsinchu city's beauty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have more than enough documents to be eligible to rent anywhere else, but since my ARC is being renewed, I don't have my card on me.
I have all the other valid documents (NHI, license for both car and motorcycle, and other forms of Taiwanese identification)
The owner wasn't willing to help, and didn't really seem to care, even when I offered to print out a copy of my ARC/receipt to go along with all my other documents. I guess he didn't want to make money
Edit: So you're saying that my Taiwanese license and identification are invalid? That doesn't make any sense. They are definitely not fake. I've been here for 5 years, rented many times in the past and never had any issue like this before.
