Is is near the Breezes Mall and we ordered the Chef's Menu, meaning it was the Chef's call, and usually they would serve the seafood in season. We love all the dishes n we side ordered the squids. Most importantly, price is very reasonable.

I just stopped there and get 4 pieces of urchin nigiri sushi~ the right and urchin portion was so perfectly prepared ~ the price is fairly reasonable for the urchin nigiri ~ i will definitely back there again~ There is no english menu available. But the staffs are so friendly~

Very choice quality fish served in the traditional style. They recommend you to not but the wasabi in the soy sauce but rather directly on to the fish. Cash only.

Nice little sushi restaurant with excellent sushi and sashimi. Great recommendation from the chef. Very friendly owner and service.

Omakase set was delicious and the chef was friendly and took the time to make our lunch special. A great place for a lunch in Dongqu.

Food quality is good (sometimes it’s just ok... it really depends). Chef is friendly and talkative. You can tell him your budget and he will have a omakase set for you. Cash only.

?tl;dr - A cozy Japanese restaurant serving slightly above average quality fish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Environment: standard setup. Not fully occupied when visited therefore it feels quite comfortable and even a bit spacious however the distances between table could still be a bit close. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Location: just one lane next to the MRT station. 1st entrance of the Taipei city hall MRT station. And there are bus station nearby too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: the fellow friends and myself had ordered one $880 set, one salmon uni donburi, 2 Temaki, one grilled fresh fish and 2 nigirizushi. The food was okay but yet outstanding 2 obvious lowlights one was the rice of the donburi, it was not “shari”, and second was the uni which was overly “defrosted and thus presented a quite melting texture. The freshness of the uni was a bit doubting too considering the color (oxygenized). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Prices: acceptable considering the location and overall service/ quality. Not cheap but yet pricey. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Others: Apparently there were quite some famous celebrities visited before who had left their signatures on the wall shelves. The varieties of dishes were quite many so it’s not hard to find desirable ones. In sum it’s a okay choice to go if lingering for Japanese food.

A really good japanese restaurant. Fresh fishes. One of the best in Taipei. We ordered a menu, sushis and grilled fish. The chef and the waitress are really kind. If I wasn't living in another country I would go there every week!
