桂花園人文客家餐館

道地客家菜，食材新鮮美味，環境是古建築，享用美食在三級古蹟清幽的環境

非常好吃的化骨豬腳，真的連骨頭都軟到，連小孩可以咀嚼吃掉，太神奇了，大推！ 每道菜味道都很到位，不只香，還有鍋氣，上菜速度也快，價格實惠，量多到吃不完得打包，意猶未盡⋯ 在古宅中用餐，別有風情，對小孩來說，也是很好的歷史跟文化教育，值得專程再訪！

原該是老舊的房子，經過一些巧思及佈置，變成一家客家人文餐廳，館內有多間不同大小包廂，餐食內容全是客家風味餐。 館內設施談不上精緻舒服，餐飲以用餐為宜、久坐午茶較沒那麼舒適。

潘家洋樓建於1935年，洋樓是舊屋拆掉重新改建已有百年，地方知名古蹟：潘家古厝，同一家族潘錦河鎮長，親自設計監工。 潘家是新埔望族，來台超過百年，在地上相當受到敬重。潘家洋樓是前鎮長潘錦河（1909-2004）故居。 融合歐、日、台式風格，例如羅馬式的廊柱，日式的屋頂設計以及臥房的榻榻米、紙門，房間與房間之間有兩個以上的門可相通，則透露出台式的生活習性。 感謝新竹生活美學館，邀請在歷史空間內享用午餐，果然不同凡響！

豬腳軟糯黏嘴cp值高，建議必點，薑絲大腸過酸，咀嚼中呼吸會嗆到，美中不足！環境優美頗有味道的餐館，建議員工講話聊天音量控制一下，就完美啦！

Tasty Hakka Style Restaurant in Xinpu Township

Delicious, fair price and relaxing. Nice old building, I'll take my family here again.

This is not the first time I’m in this small town of HsinChu, but this is the first time I step in this Hakka restaurant. It is around 13:00, walking on the street seeking for lunch, and this is the only restaurant that stills need to line up and wait for 20~30 minutes, while some other restaurants are empty, I’ve lined up and wait. Since it is the first time, I do not now the recommend dish of this restaurant, thus I’v order three traditional Hakka dish, the chicken, the bamboo and the noodle. This three dishes would never taste bad and it the representative dish of Hakka culture, and it taste good as expected in this restaurant. Besides the good tasting traditional Hakka dishes, the owner provides a kind of osmanthus tea, a kind of flora tea, which I would like to buy a bottle home, but it is sold out the day I went. After the meal, I’ve walk around in the restaurant since it is opened in the old house where one of the town mayor used to live, the owner is quite friendly, she guide us around and show us some story of the house, although she is very busy at that time.
