Soy bean milk is very delicious too. The price is reasonable. The dining environment is very comfortable and historical. Very recommended eatary! Nice!
A	Ashley Harrison on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ they serve handmade to order steamed and also deep fried thick shell pork dumplings (xiaolongbao). taste wise, the food is excellent, but the customer service attitude leaves much to be desired. we requested to order 4 deep fried and 4 steamed but they refused to do so, saying the minimum order per type was 8 pieces. normally this would be ok but we had a lot of food stops planned and 16 pieces of xiaolongbao would definitely excessively dent our appetite. strangely, they half relented and were willing to serve 4 pieces of steamed would not budge on the 8 piece minimum for deep fried. keeping in mind what we asked for is not unreasonable and is essentially an order of "mixed" or "assorted" (depending on translation) which is actually very common in this country, this situation reflects something i encounter all too often in Taiwan--a complete lack of awareness, flexibility, and focus on what the customer wants. when the customer raises an issue, it's an opportunity to improve the customer experience and review one's policies and procedures. alas, that's not how most issues are resolved. in the end, another customer (he seemed to know the owners well) brokered a deal wherein he would take the other 4 pieces of the deep fried, so we did end up with 4 pieces each of steamed and deep fried. we thanked this very helpful person profusely but i digress.
