北五指山又稱下大湖山，是北埔鄉的一座村落而命名，山頂基石有兩顆，三等三角點三號、頭前溪水源保護區界39。山頂腹地狹小，且在樹林圍繞間而無展望。山頂位於軟橋山西南方1.5公里，兩座山通常同時連登。
North Wuzhi Mountain, 663 meters above sea level, is located at the junction of Zhudong Town and Beipu Township. It is located in the north of Wuzhi Mountain in Zhudong, hence its name.
The North Wuzhi Mountain, also known as the Great Lakes Mountain, is named after a village in Beipu Township. There are two cornerstones on the top of the mountain, No. 3 of the third-level triangular point, and 39 of the water source protection area of the Qianqian River. The hinterland of the top is small and there is no outlook around the woods. The top of the mountain is 1.5 kilometers southwest of Soft Bridge Mountain, and the two mountains are usually connected at the same time.
