The Confucian Medicine Wu Tianyou Monument is the largest and most complete of the ancient monuments preserved in schools of all levels in Hsinchu County. It is located in the Houshan of Zhudong Elementary School. It has a history of more than 70 years. Mr. Wu Tianyou, also known as Hongzhen, was born in In the nineteenth year of Daoguang (1839), he spent his entire life hanging on the pot and saving countless people. He was revered as a Confucian doctor. He died in Meiji 41 at the age of 72. Mr. Wu Tianyou has studied medicine since he was a child, and lived in Master’s house as a medicine boy for many years. His life is difficult, but it also made him work harder until he became a doctor without changing his simple personality. The eldest son of Wu Tianyou, Mr. Wu Jintang, built a playground at Taketo Public School in the 14th year of Taisho, Japan. After he learned the news, he donated a large piece of land for school use. It became a beautiful event in the apricot altar. It was built during the Showa period. This monument was completed in the 8th year of Showa (August 1933). It was built in the name of his father, Wu Tianyou, in memory of his father Deze for drinking water.
