★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 該祠佔地近百坪。清朝嘉慶年間彭屋和新竹人士組金惠成墾號入墾竹東，由當時地方士紳彭姓家族共同捐地建造該祠，當年的福德祠是由小小的石板所組成的。昭和十六年(1941)重建，爾後再歷經多次整修，方有今日單殿式之規模，因為位處於竹東街尾，故名為「下排仔福德祠」 （或簡稱下排伯公）。 為竹東忠孝、竹東、榮華等三里及鄰近居民信仰中心，香火鼎盛，是竹東歷史最久遠之伯公廟。 (竹東鎮志，2011)
 The temple occupies nearly 100 square meters. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, Pengwu and Jin Huichengken, a group of Hsinchu activists, entered Kenzhudong. The land was jointly donated by the local gentry family named Peng to build the temple. The Fude Temple was made of small slabs. It was rebuilt in the 16th year of the Showa era (1941), and it has undergone many renovations. It has the scale of today’s single hall. Because it is located at the end of Zhudong Street, it is called "Xia Pai Zai Fu Fu Temple" (or simply Xia Pai Bo Gong ). It is the worship center of Zhudong Zhongxiao, Zhudong, Ronghua, etc. and neighboring residents. It is the oldest Bogong Temple in Zhudong. (Zhudong Town Records, 2011)
