★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 以下評論為自己一個人去買外帶，點菜為一人分的經驗為前提
自己已經點過這家的夫妻肺片、孜然炒牛/羊肉、糖醋魚片、炒鴨血、大薄片、辣子小卷、炒青菜。
其中最推薦的為夫妻肺片和孜然炒肉，夫妻肺片一開始吃起來比較麻，最後才會變辣，如果一個人吃的時候建議一起配白飯和炒青菜；也推薦可以點孜然炒肉代替夫妻肺片給比較怕辣的人。
而糖醋魚片裡面有放炸馬鈴薯和地瓜，因此份量上很多。
炒鴨血相對來講比較不推，可能是因為新竹市區鴨肉許的鴨類料理泰里害的關係所導致。(個人認為和清華大學附近店家的炒鴨血差不多)
辣子小卷則是辣很多，果然是辣子小卷，喜歡辣的人請別錯過。
由於工研院內的餐廳也有一家叫做八分飽的店家(市區餐廳進來進駐)，比較上，八分飽比較適合院區內邀請客戶或團隊，而川湘比較適合家族或朋友間聚餐。

乾扁四季豆是四季豆炒梅乾絞肉，特別也好吃。
這個價位在新竹很佛心，大推！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 川湘從民德路搬過去後今天第一次來外帶，但是失望了，點的泡椒牛肉，肉都散掉了，挾不起來，水煮魚片的魚肉味道也變了，整體感覺品質變差了。有點失望！
Chuanxiang came to take out for the first time today after moving from Minde Road, but I was disappointed. The beef with pickled peppers I ordered was scattered and couldn't be held up. The taste of the boiled fish fillets also changed, and the overall quality felt got worse. A bit disappointed!
