★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 內灣支線以柴油客車為主，都是單線軌道的設計，列車需要採雙車頭的方式編組；但終點內灣站的腹地不大，為方便列車調頭，所以在終點站內灣站的後方延伸鐵軌架設這個兼具調度及觀光功能的轉車盤，這個轉車盤還利用原高雄機廠已報廢之轉車盤予以整復再利用，不但省下經費也有節能減碳的意義。
The Neiwan branch line is dominated by diesel passenger cars, all of which are designed with single-track tracks. The trains need to be grouped in a double-head way; but the hinterland of the terminal Neiwan Station is not large. In order to facilitate the U-turn of the train, the railroad tracks are extended behind the terminal Neiwan Station. Setting up this carousel with both dispatching and sightseeing functions, this carousel is also reclaimed and reused using the scrapped carousel from the original Kaohsiung Machinery Factory, which not only saves money, but also has the meaning of energy saving and carbon reduction.
