★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh. Air. Need I say more? As the crow flies, the place is just over 20 miles from Taipei, but the trip is a rough 4 to 6 hours by van. That's how isolated this village is. Compared with the rest of Taiwan, it's quiet too. Go if you can. Oh, and the stars are beautiful at night.
