Location: Yufeng Village, Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County Scope: Located on the left bank of Ma Liguang River, between 700~1300 meters above sea level. Geographical environment: hillside Traffic information By car: You can enter the Jianshi Township via the direction of Hsinchu Neiwan, and transfer to the 60 County Road. After the Yulao Bulo, you will transfer to the 60-1 County Road and enter Yufeng Village to arrive at the Mali (Yufeng) tribe. Tribal group: Atayal Language: Atayal, Chinese The origin of the tribe: This place is the base of the early migration of the Ma Liguang group. During the Japanese occupation period, the Japanese army set up a station in order to facilitate the rule of the tribe, taking the name of the horsepower group, which is now called Yufeng. Tourist information Tourist attractions: ◎ Li Dongshan Ancient Fortress It is a battlefield monument left by the Atayal people in Jianshi Township. Under the ravages of the war, the castle has burned most of it and become a wreckage. The entire castle is square, sitting south to the north, and is now being used by the Meteorological Bureau to set up a meteorological instrument factory. On the way to the top of the mountain, the slope is steep and the birdsong along the road are the best places for hiking. ◎Mali light waterfall
